Return to Discussions850 miles (this was a round trip); I've done that trip a few times to attend meetings of a committee I'm on. Daylight, evening and after dark. Wonderfully comfortable. Shorts to fuel and for other rest stops. One of the rest stops was deserted and I considered staying bare but decided against it after all. I have seen a few posts on other sites who've fueled up without dressing. Would like to try that some time.
A question for the group. Whats the longest distance any one has driven while nude- in my case it was 400 kms in the afternoon a fantastic trip.
My longest nude drive was from north of Atlanta to near Indiannapolis .it was a few years ago. I took my tee shirt and shorts off when I got out of north Atlanta traffic. My truck has tinted side and rear glass and I added some folding sun screens to that. The kind you can see thru, they just darken the view. By the time I got to Chattanooga I forgot I was naked until I was in the middle of a some very slow traffic. I got a little nervous. Luckily I had another folding sun screen. I rigged it on the right side of the windshield to cut down the light and the view some more. No problems as far as being "caught". The sun screens worked so well, when I reached Nashville and hit more slow traffic, I didn't even worry. It was getting dark by the time I reached Louisville so no worries there. The trip was about 500 miles. The trip back was late afternoon and at night so no problem there.
My longest was in the UK from Nottingham to Glasgow which took about 6 hours overall, and was through the day so daylight all the time and I was fully naked all the way except pulling into service stations for a loo stop, don't think they would have appreciated me walk in there naked :-)
Driving nude is so comfortable. Last week I added two US states toa list ofones where I've driven moremiles nakedthan clothed. It's possible when I'mon a driving vacation that I log a lot ofmiles. I made a comment about that whenI arrived at a nude guest house and others reacted with shock that I drive naked. I was surprised that a bunch of nudists wouldn't have explored the joys of nude motoring. Usually works best with rural highways but not long ago drove from Palm Springs right to LAX and didn't dress until I was at Sepulveda Blvd exit. Yikes. Longest drive is still the 850 miles (shorts for fueling).

Mylongesttrip was about 10 days ago, a four hour drive from Essex to my home in North Yorkshire naked from door to door. I did the reverse trip naked the week before and I'm doing it again today. It's mainly on the A1 but also takes me through towns, villages and along country roads. I drive naked and barefoot and don't cover up even in congested traffic.
I head to florida each winter. Before the wife retired I would drive back in the spring from Titusville, Florida to north of Pittsburgh, Pa nude. I would throw pants on when stopping for any reason. Fortunately I was never caught. Now the wife is retired and goes along too. She dont like the idea so I now wear very loose and short shorts only where I still have the freedom I enjoy.

Sandy Hook, NJ , both ways but have made this trip a few timed buck naked..
During the spring and summer days though, I use to drive my 1-hour drive home from work every day on the interstate "naked" with my windows opened wide. Taking advantage of my opportunity to do this always made me look forward to the end of my work
day.
I got pulled over once by two state troopers from being
reported by a female trucker when there was a slowdown in the traffic from lots of weekend travelers.I saw two trooper vehicles
up ahead with the flashers onup-ahead and was able to put my shorts-on.
They stoped me because my Ford Explorer was identifyed and As usual, one trooper, the older one was cool and wasn't
busting my chops and was acking as a gentlemen not trying to bust me with a lot of questions, but
the younger one who was cocky was giving me the 3rd degree. I ended up being
able to go with just being hassled and giving warnings..I don't try to flash
anyone driving naked. I drive and I'm naked because I enjoy the comfort and freedom
to feel the air all over my skin. After a work day my cloths usually feel damp
from sweat. Funny when the trooper told me the trucker was "SHE" I knew
which trailer he was talking about because I passed her twice and I could see
inside her cab she had all sorts of
frilly things hanging on her dash board...I still take the
opportunity to drive naked all the time, but when I drive past a trucker, I usually
pass them fast or if I can-not, I cover-up. specially coming to tolls,

I've been driving nude ever since I could drive so I'm not sure I remember my longest drive. My MO is to put shorts on when getting gas or stopping for food.
I've driven nude from Norfolk, VA to Asheville NC, 406 miles 6 hrs. I did this a number of times.
While stationed in Norfolk with the Navy I would drive home to PA which was another 6 hour drive.
Before I lived in PA my home was in FL so I can honestly say I have driven the entire length of I-95 from Washington, DC to Jacksonville, FL nude. That's a 10 Hour drive.
I love to drive nude, there just is no better way to have a most comfortable drive.
