Fakes

This is a group for nudists who are able to realize who on here is a fake. Fakes are, for the most part, easy to spot. They usually have enormous friend lists. They never acknowledge or return a message or a post for them. They join lots of groups as to get even more access to more friend requests. Many of them use fake pics or, when they use their own pics, they are never nude. So, if someone...

This user joined today (9/29/24). Profile says the user is in London. The profile pic is actually a pic of Sara Uribe, a model from Mexico. Also, the profile say's it's a man.

Why do men do this? Don't they realize they'll get caught?

As noted elsewhere, there is no logic behind the motives. Many thanks for exposing the fakes.

I am willing to bet that the overwhelming majority of these posts are from men since there are way more men on this site than women. Either that or I am the hottest stud on earth due to all these beautiful young women lusting after my nude body. Since this does not happen at the nude beach, I guess it is the former :-(
I suspect that these contact at a different site posts from recent members with generic names such as nudist_...... nudyrudy_.....naturist_..... are all fakes and may be setting up a phihing scam or eventually trying to get money.
A simple solution to this rampant fake profiles is to only allow certified members to post to groups, Give us the option to block non-certified members from sending PM's .
I guess they would rather have more members than less, but legitimatize ones, but the rampant number of fakes is ruining this site.

While I understand your concerns. there are legitimate users like me who are not willing to send a picture of our driver's licenses to this site, which people now have to do to get certified.

I think they've changed that recently. However, you can blot all all the sensitive info. They don't need your name, address, or dl number. All they want is your picture and your birthday to verify your age.

Correct, I blocked out all my personal information except the date of birth and had not issue being certified.

Ditto, correct. Thats also when I changed my given generic ID to what it is now. It wasnt intuitively obvious, unless you really read through everything.

Yeah, that's the challenge. There were no generic ID suggestions offered back when I joined. They do seem to suggest a 'new' and possibly suspicious member, but if the opportunity to change it to a personalised ID is not obvious, then some genuine members shall miss it and, even worse, lock it in once they certify...
