#01. TO TURN YOUR PICTURE UP THE RIGHT WAY.

I notice there are at least a couple of people on here that have pictures turned on their side. I can't think that anyone would want to do this deliberately, so this is how to turn them up the right way.

You will need to do this on your computer so it will be necessary to delete the pic from the site and upload it again after you have corrected it.

Just open it in Microsoft Photo Editor, or whatever program you use. On the top tool bar there should be a button called rotate. Each time you click on it, it should turn your picture clockwise through 90 degrees, so by clicking it either once or three times, it should turn it up the right way. Then close it and when asked if you want to save changes, click yes to save it, and it will stay that way.

or

Even simpler if using Windows XP or later and you don't have a photo editing program - when browsing in thumbnail view if you right-click on the image there should be rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise options in the menu that pops up. Or there are rotate options shown if using filmstrip view.

Thanks Brizzle!

#03. WATERMARK YOUR PHOTOS,

Here's a tip TheCatLady posted on the forum.

I found a freeware program that adds a watermark to my photos. Take a look at my Profile photo to see how well it worked out. Here is the link:
