Return to DiscussionsI purchased a cabin in a remote area about two years ago and since then, my son Nick and I have been going up there every few weeks to spending time hiking, paddling, camping and a lot of it has been done free of clothing. It has become a really special place for both of us and I hope he will continue going there even when older. The fact that it is isolated has made for a much greater appreciation of being nude in nature. Happy to chat more about our experiences there.
My dad and I were nudists growing up. For me, nudity was normal and it was a wonderful bonding experience being nude with my dad everyday. But it wasn't until I was 11 that I got to experience nudity in nature. One weekend my dad and I, and a friend of ours and his son went to a private nudist campground. It had a row of cabins and several sites for tents. It was all men and their sons. We spent the day swimming in a lake, hiking around and playing catch with a football. At night we all sat around a bonfire and roasted marshmallows. We were all nude the whole time. I was used to being nude at home but I remember how much fun it was being outside and having fun with the other boys. I don't know what happened to the place but we never went back.
