Return to DiscussionsI agree there are way too many fakes and such on here. Seems very few women and couples I have talked too are real. My advice to the fakes and others is: Be honest and open and most of all be yourself. Stop pretending to be someone your not.

In my experience (10 or more cases), the purpose for being a fake on this site is to draw in someone who otherwise would not be accessible. It's most often been a woman who deals in cryptocurrency and the next most frequent is a woman who needs money to keep talking (lost her phone, can't afford internet service, underemployed, etc.). The whole purpose of being a fake it to be someone they are not - probably some guy in his mother's basement in eastern Europe.
There's also the guy who's afraid of his wife. The wife works while he plays online and doesn't want the wife to know what he's doing.
If he was up front with the wife and tells her about his online presence, he wouldn't have to make things up to keep people from knowing who he really is.

Some people are genuine but not certified because they don't trust the site with a copy of their driver's license. I am one of them.
