Return to DiscussionsIt says a lot that every single post and reply in this group that was written by a man who EXPERIENCED father son naturism as a boy is 100% positive and speaks of joyful times and bonds between them and their dad, and sometimes with other dads and their sons or close male family friends. Similarly every dad who raised a nudist son is glad they did. So the REAL LIFE experience shared here by sons and dads within naturist families is proof of how wonderful family naturism is and how special the bonds between naturist dads and sons can be. So much closer than textile dads and sons. And isnt it beautiful for a boy to learn about being male and about his gender and body and life from his dad, naked and shame-free!
In my own case my dad wasnt a practising naturist in order to keep the peace with my religion-obsessed mother. But he often bathed me and when he saw that Id started sunbathing nude he totally approved. And that approval was for more than just me going nude, it was for everything I was and did. It was more than acceptance, he understood me, and he loved and celebrated me just as I was.
My only regret is that he didnt live to see me and his grandsons living and laughing naked and free. Hed have loved that. So if youre a man whos considering or dreaming of raising a naturist family - go for it. The reality is even better than the dream! And if youre one of the many wonderful men who hasnt had the good fortune to be raised by a nudist dad or to have nudist sons I hope youll get to connect with some dads and sons and share in some of their happy times. There is no healthier, happier life!
Being raised as a nudist with mom and dad, I realized at a young age that I had a penis like dad, and mom didn't, and that created a special bond between us. Random erections happened and they were considered normal, natural and healthy. I also learned a lot about body positivity. My dad had a micro penis but he was never shy or ashamed to be seen nude around other people. I was just the opposite. When I started puberty at age 9, my penis was larger than my dad's. I was taught to be proud of my body, and penis. We never had the "sex talk" because anytime I had a question about something male related, my dad gave me an age appropriate answer. My dad was very pro-masturbation and, like erections, it was considered normal, natural and healthy.
My father wasnt a nudism but we bathed together, my uncle was the one who introduced me to nudism and I feel very lucky for that. It came at an age that my body was changing and I was turning from a boy to a man. To have a male family role model who I could talk to and see his body to know the changes were all natural was fantastic. My son now dabbles in nudism and Im here to let him try and understand. With a textile partner it can be difficult but I want him to explore and decide himself if its for him and for him not to be told either way by others. These situations should be celebrated in there natural form.
I've just "met" a nudist dad from another country, through another nude website. He is raising three boys to be nudists and to be comfortable with themselves. We've talked a lot in a short time, and I'm thrilled to hear how open, honest and trusting their relationships are. We're planning to meet and spend several days or a week or two together this summer, depending on how well we all get along. But suffice it to say, I can't wait to see first-hand how this family lives and engages with each other. I'm inspired by their thoughtfulness, courage, and trust.
