Nobody can better introduce a Boy to Nudism than own Dad. Its a natural relationship, a holy bond. A Dad should have the duty to introduce his son to all aspects of nudism and nudity. I had the luck to have those experiences.
As a dad I hope you have a strong relationship hanging with your dad, and that it's just a matter of doing so naked or clothed. A healthy father-son relationship is golden, but not a given.
Dads tend to push their sons to follow important values to keep them from not burning out, but we also want you to have fun and let loose when you're young and can. Our wish is for you to be your own person defining a future world we're not creating, but wealso want to keep you from making bad choices from which you may suffer without knowing the consequences. That basically means we are damn proud of you and celebrate you but also have anxiety since finding your place in the world is a life-long process.
So is your hanging out with pants or without? It should really be a moot point, but may take some time to go through the dad filters to find some dad bliss. My suggestion is that you be casual and confident about it and relate it to your relationship and experiences growing up with him. I have the sense that he's damn lucky to have you as a son simply for the sake of wanting that time together, and nudity makes it all the more authentic.

I think it is great you have interest in hanging out nude with him. I lost my father young (8yo) but soon after realized my dad was an aspiring nudist. I lament that he and I never had the opportunity to step into a nudist relationship as dad/son.
So I think you should explore the possibility. He may not be receptive, but at least you know you tried. Best case scenario, he is 100% into it and your bond catapults to a new level.
Not a father but a son who recently lost his dad a few months ago. Never got to experience this with him, But something tells me it would have really helped me and his relationship. His brother, My uncle is the same. Might be healthy for both of us at some point.
