Return to DiscussionsHow I went from chubby to toned Through hard training, of course, with my aunt and cousin being a huge help. I wanted to be a model, but people just told me I was too fat. And it was true! My sugar and fast food consumption was disgusting. I asked my grandpa for help, and he came up with a plan. I was supposed to fast first and then slowly build muscle. Okay, and my cousin Igor put me through my paces running, doing gymnastics, and even sparring matches in our marshlands. Meanwhile, my Aunt Mascha changed and monitored my diet and even lost weight herself. Within five years, I had a dream figure. But my thighs are still too thick. An Italian guy here said I was seeing things. But I know I inherited my grandmother's legs. Our Bulgarian blood is still flowing. Today, I do a little bit of abdominal training to keep it that way. Sugar, no thanks. Wheat in moderation. My yoga mat has its permanent place in the garden, and sometimes I mentally lose a few grams. You can achieve a lot through your mindset, too. I don't need to model anymore. I prefer reading books and spending time with my grandfather in his final years.

Interesting to read about your transformation! The food industry produces lots of bad food with tons of sugar, carbs and other things to keep their processed products to look good.
