"free-body-culture" is the exact translation of the German word Freikrperkultur (fkk). It is the commonly used word for nudism in Germany and practised by all kinds of people especially at beaches.

Camping in Bavaria

My wife and I are planning to hire a camper van in Germany this summer. We would like to visit smaller camp sites with plenty of space in scenic areas. We don't need swimming pools, cafes and other entertainment. If they can be naturist camp sites, so much the better. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I am from the UK, but now live in Germany. I do naturist camping in my private field. House and grounds are all nude. Sauna a massage facilities. Can go swimming in my river or a few km in a lake. I also do nude hiking.

Thanks Walter. Your camping area sounds interesting and I like the sound of the lake. Unfortunately, our plans have changed and we may not now go to Germany this year, so perhaps we will have to visit you another time.
