1st place is Haulover. We live outside of Fla, so we rented an apt near the beach (1/2 mile). It's got everything we need right across the street. Didn't even need a car, taking the bus saved us about 500 in car rental not to mention gas and parking.
During the trip, we visited Blind Creek, Cypress cove, Paradise Lakes, even the Villages (but that was textile). All great destinations. Might even be back this Christmas.
