Compare/contrast Lake Como and Paradise Lakes
Return to DiscussionsWe have been to Lake Como. Its kinda rustic. Great for hiking and pretty layed back. Found many to be a bit stand offish. I would contact them regarding your being a single male entry. Never been to Paradise Lakes or Caliente but I was told they are more lifestyle type clubs where things are a bit more adult in nature.
We haven't been to Lake Como, but have been to Paradise Lakes. Paradise Lakes does have nice facilities, but it is a little more on the racy side. I know they say no playing in public, but the boundaries were definitely pushed there. My wife was not very impressed at all, but I did enjoy the facilities there.
I am a current member of Paradise Lakes and go there as often as I can. I have never seen anything that was inappropriate but then due to work schedules I tend to be there during the day enjoying the pools. I have no idea about what happens under the cover of night! lol I really enjoy the place....strolling around and soaking up the sun at the pools. They have been doing a lot of work this year and the place is looking fantastic! Everyone should give this place a try if can can. I visited Lake Como and was not happy with the pool as I knew I would be spending most of my time there. But I think they do have some pretty good nature trails through the woods....just have repellant ready! lol Calente is all about the parties and should satisfy that need for anyone.

My only problem with visiting Paradise Lakes is the pricing is discouraging for
a single male. And I can understand them not wanting a Caliente type clientele showing up and wanting to party/hookup/score/swing (No, I won't be screaming "Man look at all the boobies for me"). The facilities look great, but why go to a resort where "my kind" isn't wanted.
