Heading to Haulover next month
Return to DiscussionsI just made the same trip June 1through 6th. Went to Key West and then up to Haulover. I stayed in a Double Tree hotel on Key West that provided a shuttle to downtown so that solved the parking issue. There is a parking garage downtown but is expensive and fills up fast. As far as Haulover, there is a parking lot right there and you go under the highway via a pedestrian tunnel. Very convenient. The parking is pay by card meter and is $1.50 an hour. If you have a handicap permit, it is free. We had a great time at both places.
I am finally getting to Haulover next month, on my way to the Keys. Anyone have pointers for parking, etc.?Also planning to check out the clothing optional beach down in the Keys while I am there.Any thoughts?
