I was about to get started but then it began to rain
Return to DiscussionsWell, I was about to get started on one of my many pending projects but our storm front decided to move in. Yep, I had planned to do a little mower work in the yard (before I have to employ a herd of goats) along with garden cleaning and the down pour began. It wasnt even due until much later in the day but it didnt matter. Thankfully, an earlier trip had netted a couple of pounds of fresh shrimp so there is a secondary plan in place. As of now, its beer and shrimp time! Not a bad backup plan for a rainy Florida Panhandle day. So for the rest of you, anything special happening?
I've been experiencing those same storms coming thru headed in your direction. Clear blue skies between storms have been great though. So even with the increased mowing due to the grass growing like crazy with all the rain, I always have a small bonfire built and ready to go outback on the dry days/nights in what I've designated my "wildlife and naturist preserve". Cookin' hotdogs etc out there sure beats anything I can fix to eat indoors.
