Is winter finally here?
Return to DiscussionsWe just had our *bad storm * come through last night, lots of rain, a little wind and thunder & lightning. There wasnt an excess here in the immediate area but Im sure some folks had it rough. That said, we are supposed to be seeing much cooler temps in the coming week. I saw several forecasted to be in the low 30s. The plants are all coming back inside and covers going on the garden. That also means less nude time in the yard. Well have to wait and see. Anyone else doing the same?
Update...the artic blast has arrived & it's currently 27'F outside with a forecast low of 17'F. I think winter is here & has over-stayed its welcome. But, per the forecast it will be here for several days. Oh well, at least it will kill all the mosquitoes!!
ne of atlanta well got hit by the arctic blast this week temp down to about 17f but what surprised me most was the wind knocked over my pinned down 8 foot windmill and a fence i suspect i must have slept though the wind . also last night snow at 30f it lasted all of 30 minutes maybe . can't wait till spring i enjoy being nude when home now t shirt and blanket and i still do quick runs to trash can and mailbox bottomless but brr back under blanket.
