Sometimes - reality - just - bites
Return to DiscussionsWeve been having decent weather down here, not perfect but relatively warm with sunshine and light clouds. Its good to take advantage of while you can. Such was the case this morning. It was early, that time just before it starts getting light but you can just barely see. I was taking a leisurely nude stroll around the yard, looking at the trees and noting the blueberry bushes starting to perk up. I couldnt exactly distinguish things, between the light & my eyesight but it seemed quite a beautiful morning. And then, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a mound. A big, almost huge pile of brownish residue right beside my sandal clad foot. Yep, you guessed it, in the darkness I missed stepping in a gift from one of my 125+ lbs dogs. Its kinda like a close miss is worse than actual contact and the peaceful serenity of the morning walk is crushed. Ughhhhh, back to reality! It was still a good start to the morning but sometimes it would be better to miss the reality check. Well try again another day. How about you, hows your day starting?
