I have to say I am not a fan of the way this site is handling photos. I don't know how much of this is new. I think I've been here for around three and a half years. I paid for the first two, but stopped after that. I stopped when I noticed that pictures were being eliminated from threads (around the time the formatting of the site was cleaned up). I have noticed for instance that if I am friends with someone I can only see their first six pictures. Being certified, that is one filter removed but I feel like any pictures I mark as friends or certified should be visible to those people, regardless of payment. I would be more open to that idea if the owner of the photos was the one setting the paid members only filter.
Pamela, You get away with breaking the cardinal rule - no face no genitals. But I guess you are too much of a personality here on TN to be denied.
Regarding payment; There has to be some way of funding the running costs of this site. Without paying members fees we'd be plagued with adverts. I'm a paid-up life member. And it's good to see I get something in return for my money. I make no apologies for the frustrations of those of you who do not contribute. OK, a bit back, there was a spate of tidying the site by removing photos that did not meet the rules. Regrettably some of Pamela's went with them. From what I see I think there may be a more relaxed attitude now.

A very viable and simple option option imho, would be to install a "DONATE" button where folks could chip in a buck, two or five now and then. Not everybody can afford to drop $20 a month or $100 for a life membership for a site that could go POOF at the whim of the owners.
I have done that on a respected nudist site that's been running since the 90's.
