Why Do You Prefer To Be Naked?
Return to DiscussionsI will start with b/c I love the feel, something as simple as sitting and watching TV feels so great when you are naked. Going outside and feeling the wind or sun on your nude body is also wonderful. The freedom that being naked brings is so amazing.
Please tell me what why you prefer to be naked, I really want to hear some insight from other nudists, don't be shy!
A challenging question, but one fairly easy to answer! I like the freedom from clothing it gives, and the friendship with fellow nudists who share in this lifestyle. Besides I started getting nude at the young age of 8 and have continued it off and on for almost 50 years. Being naked at night is equally rewarding. I don't mind seeing others nude as well as being seen nude. ALL bodies--male or female, any color body, body shape does not matter--are beautiful beyond words. Tom M
Quite simply I like to be naked because it's the real ME. I'd taken my clothes off throughout my life when alone or when I thought I could get away with it - a guilty pleasure. Why? I guess it's in my make-up, my personality. I discovered nudism late in life. It just seams so normal. Now I get naked without feeling guilty. I enjoy the feelings, the freedom, even the vulnerability of being my true naked self - the real me, hiding nothing. BTW I also enjoy being with other nudes - seeing them naked and being seen naked by them. It is SO relaxing!
I'm more comfortable.
My pants don't cut into me when I reach down to pick something up.
It's seems that I'm a lot more flexible without encumbrance.
Better temperature regulation.
Believe it or not - less sweat "down there."
Lower electric bills....I set the temperature higher this time of year.
Lower laundry costs.
The feel of the sun and air on my skin.
No tan lines.
I love the feel of my sheets on my skin while I'm in bed.

And, of course, I'm always in style!
I enjoy being naked because I am much more comfortable that way. I much prefer feeling the fresh air and sun on my body rather than having perspiration soaked pieces of cloth stuck to it. I don't like swimming with a wet rag around my waist.
To me there is nothing wrong with the human body and I am not ashamed of or embarrassed about the one I have. Since I became a nudist I feel I have developed more self-confidence.
I now live in a clothing optional community where I am able to spend most of my time comfortably naked
Yes it feels more natural as synthetic covering disassociates from nature
However much more importantly for me I find that it is a feeling of stress being lifted away and hence being able to feel truly relaxed.
In addition I find that being nude with friends is more genuine as there are less pretences
