Anyone planning any naked caching trips?
Return to DiscussionsWell, MJ, I have found any cache that involves significant walking off-road during the week is a good naked cache. I do all the local caches meeting the above description on Thursday or Friday (early), and I do them all naked.
We had done some naked caching in both IL & WI but it seemed there was always someone nearby. Yep, middle of the week mid day is best. Skokie Lagoon area is one. There was a preserve I think off of RT45 but not sure which town, it is north of Chicago.
The WNBR is is June. That is a fun time.
Being in FLA offers year round naked caching and a lot less people. The island caches are great, naked boating and caching in one trip.
Hope you can find some places this summer.
Have you ever been on the geocaching.com board/blog or whatever they call it for naked caching? You might find something there.
just worked a cache naked yesterday. It involved hiking away from the road into a treeline. Once in the trees, I shucked the clothes, found the cache, signed the log, rehid it, hiked back to the edge of the trees, and dressed to walk back to the car. It wasn't VERY remote, but it was enough. (And it was Thursday)
Just did a few caches naked in The Keys. What a great experience to be out and cache naked here. Luckily the strong breeze kept the mosquitoes away. The caches not only offered a smiley but nice scenery or different things at GZ. We were really happy we took the time to search for them.
We had a great time caching naked at Toadally Natural garden in Wisconsin. The weather was perfect for being naked and caching. Meeting the owners was fun and we got to see them working the hay field and all the other sights that are on their property.
Could have spent all day caching naked. So enjoyable.
