These verses say how Jesus suffered which tought Him obedience and by which He became the source of salvation. So that means we should not expect to live without suffering as Christians, but the question is if we suffer - what do we suffer from and most importantly how has it changed us / what have we learned from it?
Those of us who are lucky enough to have been born in America will never know the suffering that Christ went through. We should give thanks everyday for all the many blessings we have here. Even our poor are better off then most of the rest of the world. However, the rewards we experiance here are nothing compared to those waiting for us in Heaven. Thank goodness that he was willing to suffer and die for us. Lets hope that all America will remember what happend next during the upcoming Easter Holiday. I hope we as Christians will be a beacon shinning so bright that the rest of the country can't help but see His Glory.
