They finally opened up the beach so you can walk the entire length of the clothing optional section.I did that a few times on Tuesday. Get a good work out between walking and swimming. Hope you guys had aniceday at the beach. Wish I was there instead of at work...lol

On Wednesday, I walked the entire length of the clothing optional area. In years past, I looked forward to that. This year, until recently, they had most of that length closed off.
Walking that entire length of clothing optional area is not as much of workout than walking to the parking lot. There is quite a difference between walking on water soaked sand versus walking on loose sand.
I went today. Got sunburned despite my limited time out and sunscreen. I didn't have to pay park fees today for some unknown reason. Sun and clouds but comfortable. Looks like the clothing optional part expanded immensely. I'm a marathon runner and I didn't walk the entire length. Saw Kurt and a few members of YNA there on my way out.

If you arrived in the late afternoon, that's why you got in free. If it was not late afternoon, somebody at the gate wasn't doing his job. By the way, after Labor Day, admission is free anytime.
