Return to DiscussionsMy wife and I will be traveling to Gunnison Beach for the first time and would like recommedations for a nice B&B or hotel near the beach or ocean. (coming from Chicago) Could anybody recommend one or two to us. Also, are we aloud adult beverages (cans) at the beach? Are there any nude beaches farther south than Sandy Hook? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Fred

There is a Red Roof near exit 105 of the Garden State Parkway. I believe the price is about $90. Somebody said that there is a cheaper motel in Leonardo.
You are allowed to bring beverages in a can, in fact many people do that. They prohibit any glass bottles. Also regulations require that any trash brought in be carried out when you leave.
I believe that Gunnison Beach (Sandy Hook) is IT, as for any nude beaches on the Jersey Shore.
