Almost warm enough for an April/May day trip

Though the water's still in the 50's, if air temps are in the mid 80's and sunny, I'd consider a day trip.
Does anybody know when they fence off the southern portion of the beach for the "nesting shorebirds"?

Not sure what you meant about the fence question. Does it block the access to the nude beach, or part of it?
