Guy Camaraderie
Closeness among guys is central to GC. Hello! My name's Ryan, the founder of Guy Camaraderie. We welcome guys from any background. Whether you identify as straight, gay, bi, or otherwise, there are no expectations or criticisms here. Please allow me to give you a brief overview of the core concepts and philosophy of Guy Camaraderie (or GC for short). The central focus once again is closeness...
Jerking Off
Return to DiscussionsI read the "About" page for this group and it didn't exclude jerking off as a topic of discussion -- thus, I'm assuming it ok.
What do you think about jerking off when there are other guys around with whom you do not engage in sexual behavior. So, you're with a friend or friends and you really feel like jerking off. Do you go ahead and do it? Have you ever done this? If so, did anyone join in and also jerk off?
I've read recently that the exclusively male clubs back in the 1800s were exclusively male because the well-to-do men enjoyed getting together with other men, having conversation, smoking cigars, drinking whisky, and jerking off. These were the aristocrats, high-end business owners, lords, barons, etc. Essentially all married.
I enjoy living a truly open nudist lifestyle. All doors (bedroom and bathroom) stay open all the time. I'm naked all the time. While I don't require my guests to be nude, I do insist that the doors stay open, regardless of what they are doing (taking a shit, having sex, etc.). For those who are nude and get an erection, I encourage masturbation. I keep tissues around the house for easy clean up. I have no problem masturbating, using the toilet, or even having sex with my partner with a house full of guests watching. These are all things EVERYONE does. Why hide it?
That's exactly how I feel. Why hide something that everyone does? I honestly do not understand why common everyday behaviors are considered indecent and shameful.
If a couple were having a picnic on a blanket at a public park, who would be harmed if they fucked in plain view? What part of that activity would be the cause of harm?
No one would be harmed. No part of that activity would cause anyone any harm.
That being the case, why hide other common everyday activities?
I am of the same thought when it comes to masturbation (jerking off). It is a natural thing and nothing to be ashamed of. My nudist friends and even some of my textile friends, know that if you are at my house you can be as nude as you'd like. If you get an erection and want to jerk off, go for it! You don't have to ask or fear being judged or ridiculed. Just don't get it on my furniture, lol.
To me, that is a level of comradery that is not found a lot in the male nudist or the male bonding world. I have jerked off around nudist friends. Not always to completion, but the feeling has hit me and I usually just go with it. I have been i moments where friend(s) joined in and I have those that did not, and it was not an issue. Life continued like normal, because it was. Moving past the sexual nature, those who are comfortable with being nude, having a hard on, or jerking off around other nudist friends demonstrates a deeper connection that establishes a safe space for guys to be who they are and not what society expects them to be.
It does seem as if the tide may be turning.
Used to be here on TN that boner picts were deleted almost before they could be posted. I've noticed more and more boner picts that have remained for quite some time. Even some groups have profile pictures that include boners.
Boners are not evil. No one was ever harmed by seeing a stiff cock, because it's simply not possible.
It all about the vibe for me. If I have the camaraderie with someone then yeah it's all fair game. I'm not usually gonna start jerking off in front of other people if I don't know what their comfort level is. Granted, most of the people I hang naked with we have a good camaraderie going. It's a cock, boners happen. I always say why waste a good boner. Plus that kind of thing brings guys together even more, sharing in something like mutual masturbation. I started doing that in high school before I even considered myself a nudist. It was all about feeling comfortable with the person I was with.
Kind of the opposite for me.I started doing that in high school before I even considered myself a nudist. It was all about feeling comfortable with the person I was with.
I jerked off with friends until about the 7th or 8th grade and then we quit.
I wish we had continued.
I think the unspoken attitude was that jerking off together was kid stuff. Not kids anymore; don't jerk off together any more.I don't know -- just seems like that's what it was.
Well their loss then. I can maybe see where their head is at since yall started doing it in adolescence, but as grown men we know all other grown men do it by themselves. So you might as well included your close buddies in on it. Sucks that your childhood friends think it's kid stuff because there's a lot more joy in doing it with a jerk off bud....or at least someone that doesn't mind you jerking off in front of them
