This is a group for naturist who also enjoy Ham Radio ( Amateur Radio ) as a hobby. We combine the two hobbies together to enjoy them twice as much as one hobby. Ham radio gives nudist a more social out let on a world wide level. Nude recreation gives ham radio opreators more comfort when operating thier radios.

Return to Discussionscould do it when I get going with my mobile setup. my closest big park probably has had plenty of activation, since it's a popular resort park Fall Creek Falls in middle TN. But there are some little ones around too. Like rock island SP, and Burgess Falls SP. Those don't see much radio activity I'm sure. N4ISF
What about activating a POTA at a nudist resort, or a nude beach? I wonder if other nudists would be intimidated by the equipment. I suppose getting approval from the park administrator would be a good idea.
Then there is registering it on the POTA site. I've not activated a site. Is there a field for general descriptive data? It would be great to activate a nude POTA site from a nudist location. It would also get the word out about the possibility of nude amateur radio. I'd do it since Playa Linda isn't too far away, but the XYL would definitely NOT approve.
Even so, I wonder how many "closet" nude ham operators we have out there. Waking up at 2:00 AM and working some QSO's w/o dressing would seem like a common thing.

There is a nudist at a local resort who lives there. The local club he is a member of knows. I also know a couple licensees in San diego area, then myself. Problem for me is my friends know I drop, but field day and events are not nude friendly.
I'm interested in pota and sota but my time constraints have not allowed me yet.
