RE:Upcoming trip to Haulover
I was in Miami the end of Feb. for a conference. At the end of my vacation I moved to a hotel near the Fort Lauderdale Airport, the Red Carpet Inn. It is reasonably priced, and 12 miles from Haulover Beach. I had a rental car so I drove myself to the beach. It costs $6 to park during the week and $7 on weekends. From what I have read online there is a bus that goes down Collins Ave. that you can take to Haulover beach.
