Return to DiscussionsI will be visiting Hippie Hollow for the first time in a couple of weeks (June 13/14) and looking for any suggestions on the best place to hang out. Been a nudist for a while, and have visited a few resorts, but always liked the idea of getting to TX's official nude place. Anyone else be visiting there during this time?
I will be there June 13th. Have a couple of other friends that will be there too. We are usually near the garden at radio rock. that is right at end of handicap ramp. I have asked my friends to add to upcoming visits so will know who is coming.
I just got a message from a friend in Austin that confirmed what I heard on radio yesterday. The forcast temp will be 102 with heat index of 105-110. With temps like that, make sure you bring plenty of water or gatorade type drinks. Any alcohol is not a good idea in that heat and park rules do say no visable alcohol, so don't have case of beer on seat like soneone I know did. LOL
Looking forward to seeing those coming there.
There was a nice group from here at the lake, it turned out that we did get included in the setting of skinni dip record. The crowd was smaller than usual there, either because the push for the record was to have people at resorts or because some of the local news stations had mentioned the event and some stayed away because they did not want to be seen on TV. There wrere 104 participants with a lot more that did not want to be listed on the log sheet that was required.
