I almost headed up there yesterday. It was a stressful afternoon and I really wanted to get out into nature and get my clothes off. It's so relaxing and peaceful. I really could have used some sun on my skin, even if the water was probably way too cold to get in.
Well sir it was a great day to get some sun and meet up with friends.
We arrived shortly after park open and been that it was cloudy there were few peeps there. A local friend had already arrived and had 'our' spot so all was good. Started to clear up and by noon was perfectly clear. Other friends had arrived and we had good time baking in sun. One issue was with water level been so high, large waves from boats would cause splash of cold water.
By mid afternoon park had a good crowd. We left at sunset, nicely burned and totally relaxed from good vibes. Hard to beleive that its winter and we are in 80s.
Next trip...march 11th. (Weather permitting)
