Return to DiscussionsHey all. Whats everyones thoughts on the upcoming season? I know the NHL season has been pushing for rivalries for years, and having to play the same 7 teams 8 times this season will sure do that. Much like the expanded playoff bubble last year, I think itll make for a fairly awkward season overall , but Id still rather have it than no season at all.
Itll be very similar to the most recent lockout year. Although the realignment prbbly start some rivalries and perhaps a few interesting upsets which may not have otherwise happened.
My team, DET, wont go very far. Theyre essentially going into their second year of a rebuild. They have to do better than last season, right?
