You should give your husband an empty box with a note that says this is your kind of matching sleepwear!
I have not received any sleepwear since I started sleeping nude.
However, at least twice I received a gift of sleepwear from my parents that involved more coverage than I was using at the time.
The first was a set of long warm pajamas after I had started wearing lightweight short ones year-round.
That was not a problem.
I simply told my parents that I could use them as loungewear since I found summer weight short pajamas warm enough year-round.
The second was when I got a short pajama set after I had switched to shorts only.
I decided to wear just the shorts and said nothing.
That worked until once when we were staying with my parents I took a middle of the night bathroom trip in just the shorts and crossed paths with my mother. She told me in no uncertain terms that I was not to leave the bedroom at her house without a shirt.
She did say something about if I did it at home, it was my business.
I didn't respond and certainly didn't tell a few years later that I had abandoned all clothing for sleeping, bathroom trips (and swimming in our backyard pool after sunset).
