What are your thoughts about sleeping nude in a hotel?
Return to DiscussionsIt's over 40 years since I packed any pyjamas in my overnight case.35 years for me, although if I am sharing a room with someone other than my wife, I will pack and wear gym shorts.At least twice in the years I was a part time nude sleeper, I put sleep shorts in my suitcase but they stayed there until I unpacked when we got home.
I have never had any problem with sleeping nude in a shared bedroom.
Sleeping naked is a non-issue and never give it a second thought. I've even slept naked when transporting my teenage granddaughters across country and staying in a hotel for one night. Albeit, I got under the covers with shirt and shorts and then removed them.
I don't travel for business with another employee or boss of the same sex, but if I did, that would not curtail my naked bedtime, nor would I be hesitant to undress before hopping into bed. What can I say, it just comes natural, naturally!

Most of my shared hotel room experiences were business trips, which made it more difficult.
It has never bothered me. Nude is nude no matter at home, the beach, your back yard, so fore what is the point of not sleeping nude when your paying to stay hell yes get naked as soon as I get in the door.
Funny story I was working at a hotel, I was moving and to make things easier on myself I decided to stay at the hotel where I worked.
I worked the eavning shift and when I got off
I would swim or workout and unwind so I could sleep. This night I swam, I worked out and couldn't unwind. So I drank a few beers and got sleepy I thought I put the do not disturb sign on outside of door or thought I did anyway. Well morning shift came in and start doing maid service on the rooms. Somehow in the computer system it showed my room as vacant. So I was sound asleep, I start under the covers but never am I covered come morning. The housekeeper didn't knock because room said vacant and she walked right in on me. I woke up a little enough to speak and said good morning and her name. She was gone in a flash I laughed and fell back 66. I eventually got up and was sitting in a 6 having coffee I had one leg cocked up on the table and the other resting on the bed and another housekeeper came threw and did same thing again. Well to say the least it didn't bother me at all but those two housekeepers couldn't look me in the face for a few weeks. They both learned really quick to knock before entering a hotel room.
I get nude as soon as I am in my hotel room and of course sleep nude. I cant imagine sleeping with any clothes on - THAT seems unnatural to me!
If I had to share a room with a coworker, I would bring up at dinner that I forgot to pack anything to sleep in, and if its a problem we can stop somewhere and I could pick up some briefs
