Return to DiscussionsGot my own bedroom when I was twelve. Knew my dad slept nude so thought why not give it a try. The moment I laid down on the crisp clean sheets and felt the sheet encompass my body like a dreamy cool liquid blanket I was hooked and never slept other than naked from then on. Except while in Navy boot camp. That was almost sixty three years ago, my how time flies!
Yeah, I think thats what my Mom asked me after I moved out.But at least she didnt get mad at you for sleeping naked ! Yeah
My mother bought me some long pajamas after I was only wearing short ones, so I told her that I was wearing short pajamas year-round.
I did get at least one short pair after I stopped wearing them, but it wasn't long afterwards when her mobility began to decline and she started asking my wife and I to do most of her gift shopping for her.
I distinctly remember one night when I was in my sleep shorts only phase, I was visiting my parents house and made a middle of the night bathroom run without a shirt. She told me in no uncertain terms to never do that again at her house.
I don't think she ever knew that shortly thereafter I abandoned all clothing for sleeping and trips between the bedroom and bathroom.
First time I tried sleeping naked I was 10, the next morning my mom found I had been sleeping nude and I got a beating to wake me up! My father asked if I was crazy! But I had slept so well. I tried off and on till my late teens, but if I got caught I got beat. In my older teen years my parents trusted me enough to leave me alone in the house for a weekend then even took vacations without me, my vacation was sleeping nude and being naked all day. Thats when I feel I became a true nudist, and have been one ever since.

I am so sorry that your parents were so out of line. No one deserves to be treated like this. I am glad that you somehow manged to that all behind you.
I think I may have posted this on TN before, here goes When I was in college I was home one weekend and my mother asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told her I could use some new pajamas and she looked at me and said: You should really sleep in the nude. Your father and I do. Well I tried it that night and after that I was hooked. Of course, as an adolescent male having no pajama bottoms on, also made it a lot easier to Anyhow, you get the idea.
I started sleeping naked during Covid while I was stuck in Austin with limited clothing (since that was a temp situation). So freeballing and sleeping naked saved on doing a lot of laundry. Carried that forward when I moved to my own house and had to temporarily stop when my mother lived with me for a year and a half. Now that she's gotten her new house, I can't tell you how much I missed sleeping naked and working from home naked haha

After that marriage, I was on my own for a few years and was naked as much as I could be, but always slept naked. I'm now with my second wife and we both very much enjoy sleeping naked. It just feels so natural and unrestrictive. I also don't do underwear, going commando always, that's if I need to wear any clothes at all

My wife rarely sleeps nude, but is fine with me doing so all the time.
