I Remain Nude When Guests/service P
This group is for ALL fellow nudists whom remain nude, regardless of who visits the home. Personally, I have always remained nude for every guest and visitor to my home, including neighbors, plumbers, cable and telephone techs., Fedex, UPS, food/pizza delivery, and many more. It's every nudists right to be nude when at home. Why cover up? Please feel free to share your experience.
Deciding to be 100% Nude at home
Return to DiscussionsHi All. I have slowly arrived at a place where I feel the need to ask guests to observe nudism in my home and I do answer the door naked. It's legal nothing unethical to me about the human body and I find it very disingenuous to dress for the modesty of others in my living space. It is a bit embarrassing to be so militant on the one hand but also just wrong to stop being me. How do others feel?
Authenticity starts at home, so I respect your decision. Here's what keeps me from doing the same all the time:
1) I like to have windows unobstructed and live near a lot of foot traffic. I'm not ashamed if others see me naked but I'm aware of how good fences (and curtains) make good neighbors 2) It gets cold in Chicago and if my apartment is 68 degrees sitting naked is not comfortable 3) When I'm in and out a lot I find it enough hassle to take my shoes and jacket off.
That being said, people have knocked on my door and I don't bother getting shorts on. Ill stand behind the door and mention I'm not wearing anything and the good thing is they always disappear quickly.

I am a little curious as to how you decided to be always nude at home. Did you wear less clothing less oftne until you finally never wore anything?

Although this question was posed to another member on this thread, I'll respond for the heck of it.
When I first starting working from a home office in 1995, I wore walking shorts and a shirt. Basically, golf clothes. The idea of working nude was not something I had even heard of, much less considered for myself, even though I was a frequent beach nudist, usually at Haulover.
My Florida home office would get warm from being on the sunny side of the house and from the computer equipment. (Back then a CPU, CRT, and printer would throw off a lot of heat.) After a few months I decided to remove my shirt for comfort. I had never worked shirtless. It took a while to get acclimated, but I kept my naked chest to the grindstone. Being physically more comfortable while working was something I enjoyed, especially after many years of working while wearing a shirt and tie. It was not much longer when I decided to try working completely nude, figuring more comfort would be even more enjoyable. It was the beginning of a newly minted home nudist.
FL smoothie,
Three times I have mentioned to acquaintances that I know work from home that an advantage to doing so is that you can work in shorts all summer. One of them responded that he does, but always wears a collared shirt and tailored shorts because he does not want to be too casual when he works, The other two both responded that the real advantage is that you can work in nothing and they often did so, One other time a telecommuting friend mentioned that he liked to be dressed by lunch on summer Fridays because his wife got done at noon. I jokingly asked if that meant he normally telecommuted nude, He changed the subject.
By the way, did you ever work in gym shorts with or without a t shirt or did you go from collared shirt to shirtless and dress shorts to nude?

Interesting observations. Obviously there may be a lot more nude home office workers than one would think.
Been a long time, so once I was going shirtless I may have worn gym shorts. I dont think the shorts only period lasted very long.
