I love the freedom of swimming naked, without the hindrance of a costume. Surely it's the way that it's supposed to be, isn't it?

If it's only sheer when wet, then it may be okay, even if you have to feign ignorance. Some return to opaque faster than others.
In addition to my sheer-when-wet suits I also have a brief in a white mesh. From a distance what's underneath is not super clear although the seams are a big contrast. Close up, all is there.
