Does it count if you are skippy dipping alone?
Return to DiscussionsDoes it count if you are skipping alone. I think it is like taking a bath if no one see you. For it to count someone has to be with you skinny dipping or someone see you doing it. What do you think?

Of course it counts

Yes. Of course it counts. Skinnydipping is swimming naked. It doesn't matter if you are alone or if no on sees you. It is the act of being nude while swimming.

I skinny dip because I like the water against my naked skin, NOT for show. Of course it counts.....taking a bath is just another way of skinnydipping.

Considering the number of TV commercials that show people (kids) taking a bath in swim suits these days, I think we need to rethink that mindset! LOL

I don't skinny dip with the concern of someone seeing me, as I'm not an exhibitionist. I am nude and enjoy all my activities in the buff when possible.

Skinny dipping is skinny dipping, plain and simple. It's more fun with company, but it is still skinny dipping when it is just you.

I'm with the group consensus on this one--it "counts" if you skinny dip alone...but it is soooooooooooooo much more fun with a group!

Most definitely. Now, swimming in the ocean at night is not safe at all, but the best group skinny dip I've experienced was at night in Woods Hole, MA during a comb jelly bloom. They don't sting, you cannot feel them at all, but they are bioluminescent and light up when the water is agitated. Glow in the dark skinny dipping. Best group skinny dip for me so far.
