Topics of discussion
Return to DiscussionsWe need to finalize the topics. I am quoting below the topics from last year, of which, only very few we have discussed. Let us finalize this year's topics and let everybody give their suggestions about additions and alterations.
Topics of last year below:-
TOPICS OF DISCUSSION IN THE FIRST INDIAN NUDISTS SEMINAR INUDES 2014: 1.History of Nudism in India.2.Nudism in today's India and in its different regions: its spread, scope and threats.3.Nudism, sex and sexuality, in general as well as in Indian perspective.4.Different forms of Nudism and related hobbies and lifestyles. Are they mutually exclusive?5.Social outlook towards Nudism, in general as well as in Indian perspective.6.Evolution of an aspiring Nudist: a journey of different forms: indoor to outdoor, body to mind etc.7.Nudism and spirituality.8.Nudism in World scenario.9.Nudist Social Etiquettes.10.Participation of womenfolk in Nudist lifestyle, in general as well as in Indian scenario.11.Different merits of Nudism.12.Clothing optional world: is it a Utopia?13.Role of electronic media and internet in spread of Nudism, in general as well as in Indian perspective.14.Favorable environments for nudism:rural or urban?15.Different unique Nudist experiences.16.Regional sessions.17.Miscellaneous. Contribution in the forms of presentations, audio and/or visual media, video/films and photography, literature, short papers, research, speeches etc. are expected from participants. Prior submission would be better for our preparation. Interviews, group discussions, panel discussions, question-answer sessions, debates, lecture sessions, open discussions etc. on the topics will also be held. Medium will be English or Hindi. Somebody willing to contribute in other languages will have to take help of any interpreter.
We can have informal group discussions and not a seminar type one speaker, rest listener situations. Each session should be one hour, but can be stretched if it becomes very active. The topics should be practical and not much theory oriented. For example, participants from a state can enlighten others about the naturist/ nudist activities there- if possible , with still/ video clips.
Short videos of activites of naturist clubs abroad may be shown to encourage others.
Ladies should be allowed to speak ( in their mother tongue , through an interpreter, in case she is not fluent in hindi or English)about their views towards naturism.
Someone can initiate the discussion on naturism and sex and others can join him/her in sharing their experiences.
Maybe, a discussion on how to promote naturism in the present situation.
Please come forward with other ideas............
Agree with lifenature. Let it be very informal...
Another interesting way could be - let there 1-2 topic for group discussion.
And few others will be poster presentation. in chart papers, the topic will be written and those will be hung from wall. there will be chit post paper and pen. people can write their views and stick it on respective poster. And people can see them as gallery display.
And the topic for discussions....should not be theoratical one which is not going to be relevant for individual. Because we are going to take up any issue for larger advocacy in india in near future. Presently we are in a state of self exploration only.
lets start discussion from individual level only. each can share how s/he is evolving in nudism/naturism, what are the turning points or mile stone, what is the most favorite fantasy fulfilled, what is still there un fulfilled....what is his/her vision of his/her nude life style for future, any goal....
people can share in narratives, with pictures, ppt presentation, poster presentation...or combination of all.
But there should be time limit for each, depending on how many wants to take up this.
Through this process one will learn to express the self as nudist...and it will be a good opportunity for others to understand the person.
