New gym, new environment
Return to DiscussionsI recently switched gyms to a more main stream one. I'm amazed at the radical difference in attitudes about locker room nudity! No one is ever naked in the locker room at my new gym. I see people taking their gym bags to the showers rather than stripping down at the locker. It's really a shame. I find that I'm 10x more conscious about stripping down at the locker there as well. I'm hoping to lead by example though and continue to be as naked as possible while in the locker room. I'm likely an outcast now, but hopefully others will join in over time.
The gym I belong to has stall showers. The last "upgrade" put doors on. Doesn't matter to me, I leave the door open. Don't really like the small space. I come into the lockers from the pool area, go to the showers, drop the shorts and rinse them out. After t
I walk into the lockers , get my towel to dry off. No hurry, no complaints. Even had a few conversations nude with some others.
Like others notice, most younger can't be seen changing, but some have no problem changing or being nude in front of others.
HI, I don't know what happened from before 2000 to now with guys in the gym locker room. I remember how I went when really busy and would stand bare ass at the sink to shave and talk and talk. Sometimes a guy would talk dirty and I could hide my aroused dick at counter height. I was a gym rat and went twice a day -- self employed.
I returned after many years and I was asked nicely to cover up recently when at the sink. I didn't. Next time I will shave I will also do my balls and shaft !!!
