Locker Room Nudists
People that go totally naked in the locker room without the need to hide themselves with a towel.
Refusing to cover just because
Return to DiscussionsLets reintroduce our fellow men to other men. Locker room nudity should at no point make another man uncomfortable. Im not talking about guys cruising but just being nude before or after a work out, swim or steam. I enjoy to drip dry and cool down shower and drip dry again. I also enjoy the blow dryer for my entire body. Being a hairy man means constant moisture in Florida. Id like to find a mens only club where there is not a dress code but also not a gay hook up site. There are book stores and bath houses for that.
100% agree! I was just in the locker room and had my pre-workout shower. I walked to and from the showers naked (as I should). I got an awkward look from one guy but 3 others minding their own business (as they should) now Im about to have my post-workout shower. More people in the gym so maybe more eyes in the locker room.
I agree. My last gym, guys showered in shorts and worse, the showers were in stalls with doors. That only reenforces a clothed mentality, let alone add to the cost of the showers and maintenance.
Also being a hairy man, even when I towel off, I still need to air dry (and not i will not shave ).
My gym, the Y, has open showers with steam, sauna, and hot tub in the wet area. It's rare to see a bathing suit. Most guys will walk from their locker to the showers carrying their towel. Several of us shave and blow dry naked.

One should never make others feel uncomfortable. If I sense someone else, I dont face them directly and I avoid eye-contact. I find younger men studiously avoid changing without a towel - no doubt the fear of comparison - but 50 and upwards just dont care. As for me, I just think we all have the same bodies so why worry.

The older members may not care because they remember when communal male nudity was more common.
