RE: changing and towelsI see some of the same thing. I go from my locker to the shower and back nude and carrying my towel and see others doing the same. I have nothing to hide.

RE: changing and towelsIt seems the towel dance has become as popular as the twist back in the early 60s. These young kids today, what will they think of next to rebel against their elders.

yes, that's even worse than the towel dancers - the ones who work up a sweat then change into street clothes without showering. Yuk!

RE: changing and towelsIn my experience, most guys don't shower period. They wouldn't be caught dead naked in a locker room.
I have seen a few like that at the Y locker room!

RE: changing and towelsMy gym is in the middle of a remodel, which seems to have discouraged nudity while changing as well as discouraged hygiene after working out. Today, when I was showering, I was the only one. Not a good sign in my opinion

RE: changing and towelsI go to a gym where about 90% of the members are gay. They offer gang showers (5 heads) and stall showers for the shy guys (6). Many, including me, walk around totally nude. It cracks me up how many are shy about it. So silly!

RE: changing and towelsThe prior remodel remade the gang shower into stalls. That change really cut out the chatter while showering.
The current remodel made the stalls bigger, and they removed the towel rack. You have no choice but to take your towel into your shower stall. The old locker room was beat up and needed renovation. Not thrilled about the new design.

RE: changing and towelsI've noticed at my Y the smaller to average sized guys are less shy than the larger guys. Still, most don't wrap their towel around their waist.
LOL, I guess that's why I'm not shy!
