i recently went fishing in my canoe out of breton sound marina. spent most of the morning watching a big red chase mullet and tossing live shrimp to the pin fish, but didn't catch anything down by the rock dam. finally decided to check out the marsh, so pulled anchor and turned around. got back in the marsh and it looked as if it was going to be more of the same. i could see the reds pushing the bait fish into the bank, but wasn't getting any bites. finally when i was down to my last 3 shrimp i decide to have a little fun doing something i'd never done before. there was no one else around so i stood in my canoe, all i was wearing was a pair of shorts, so i dropped them and cast my line. i was for the first time in my life fishing naked. i cast to the bank where i had just seen a red hitting, and he bit. i had to sit back down to gain control of him, but it felt really good to be soaking up the sun all over and reeling in a nice fish at the same time. i stopped at indian hills on my way home to take a shower and soak up a little more sun. while there i met a guy and we talked fishing, i told him my story and he agreed to take a picture of me with my fish. just downloaded it to this group.
