Return to DiscussionsI'm with Badger on this one. Plus, the original post uses "flaunt" to describe their attitude. Flauntiing is way different from just enjoying my own and others' nakedness. The latter can be very sensuous anyway. Flauntiing sort of implies a disregard for other people.
We all know that the penis has a mind of its own, there should be no reason for men to be embarrassed or for on lookers to be embarrassed or offended at a man with an erection, as long he his not being sexual with it.
I no longer hide my erection if I am naked out in public.
The poster used the words flaunt and turn on which could suggest sexual overtones so Im not sure how he meant it. At the very least he seems to have a exhibitionist streak in him which as long as he doesnt do anything offensive is fine .
Taking pride in one's naked body is a wonderful aspect of being naturist/nudist and sexuality depends on attitude and the context. In my opinion, it starts with having a certified profile picture on TN. If you're uncomfortable getting out of the starting gate here, it's likely to limit your turn ons elsewhere, too!
I can say I have no issue if I'm erect infront of others, whether it be my partner, friends, in a gym shower or at a beach. Now if there was a sexual act, then obviously I can see why people would object. I can say that doesn't matter the orientation, guys can get boners at any time and it's not a sexual thing. From my time in sports esp high school and university wrestling, it was not uncommon to see my fellow teammates when we showered to have erections and we never took it as being gay or sexual...it happens. Now the exhibitionist side of me, does find that hot, though on the flip side of the arguement, I enjoy being watched as well both in a non or sexual environment.
