Hot Springs in Japan
Return to DiscussionsMy first nudist experience was in Japan when I first visited there in 2018 and visited a local hot springs called the Onsen. It was a public like a public bath where men and separated from women. It occupies 2 floors of the mall where I went to. I can say that it is somehow similar to the Korean Spa's except that the Onsen, they don't have a lot of different sauna. They only have one wet sauna and one cold pool and the rest are all hot springs. I went back to Japan in 2019 and 2020 and everytime, I go to their Onsen. I like the Onsen's in a hotel near Mt. Fuji as they are outdoor and you can see Mt. Fuji snow capped tip from the hot springs. I have never visited a hot spring here in the US yet nor in AZ where I lived. I have to do that when I have a lot of spare time. So far, the only hot springs I have gone are all in Japan.
We have so many wonderful Hotsprings in Arizona.
The Eldorado Hotsprings west of Phoenix is very rustic but the water is amazing.
The Verde Hot Springs is getting harder to get to you because they keep closing the roads to the Hotsprings but its out in nature and its wonderful
Dont forget about Faywood Hotsprings and southern New Mexico. They even have a nude camping area.
Yeah, I was able to go to Japan right around 2018. But the group I went with was from work and they never took me to a sauna or a spa. But then we were in southern Japan.
