How long does a PA ring take to heal?
Return to DiscussionsMine was done over 3 years ago so I don't remember that well. I think the healing time was much shorter than others have said, maybe 2 weeks. It should heal before stretching it to a larger gauge. Otherwise it can migrate out. Starting at 2mm (12 gauge), I've stretched mine gradually, roughly 1mm increase every 6 months (though initial stretching was faster). I've just made it to 10mm (a bit over 00 gauge).
I was pierced at 10ga nd immediately stretched to 8ga and fitted with 8ga.
I'm definitely overdue for this . I would love to get some guidance and share in it as well definitely would be into that same immediate stretching. PAs are so handsome and I feel like they are appropriate for me. It's just more interesting and profound for me to deliberately get it done with appreciation and understanding from other men.
Mine healed pretty quickly, just under two weeks. 25 or so years ago, the piercer recommended using sterile surgical cleanser several times a day. I followed those directions. No pain, no bleeding. Had my first orgasm 7 days after. Again, no pain or bleeding for me.
I was lucky, mine only took about 6 weeks and I had hardly any discomfort. The first couple of times, I had a piss, it stung a little but that was it. I agree with the advice from tos1966. The only thing I would add is, if you're gonna wear a panty liner, make sure you don't go to the piercer, commando like I did. Imagine my embarrassment, when the pantie liner, fell out of my cargo shorts, as I got on the bus, heading home lol.
