Return to DiscussionsSo I thought I would share my piercing experience with you guys, maybe some of you have some questions about them, and maybe some of you have some piercing stories to share.
I finally got my PA done! I had been wanting to do it for years and just said "I am going to do it". Decided to get it done before swim season in Arizona starts (which can be in April! depending on the weather).
I guess the preparation started on Saturday evening, had sex to make sure I was less likely to get an erection right after the piercing. Also jacked off one hour before the piercing on Sunday. When it is freshly pierced you don't want tons of blood gushing down there.
Went at noon with a friend to the piercing place. My friend already has a PA, and having a friend come with me really calmed my nerves. When I got my nipples pierced I went alone and that time was definitely more of a challenge to conquer my inner self and go through with it. The piercing place gave me a consultation first to see if I could get a PA - not every intact penis can have one. It depends on the foreskin. Luckily for me, the piercer said I had a great glans and foreskin for the PA and there would be no trouble. Then went back to the front and paid. Then it was time to get it done.
I was initially nervous as I got my nipples done in Germany where numbing creme is pretty much the norm. in Arizona it is illegal for piercers to use it. Also, they use a completely different technique in the US as opposed to Europe. In Europe they use cannulas which are similar to IV needles and the piercing goes from the inside out. In the US they use specialty piercing needles and they pierce from the outside in. Just the idea of someone shoving a needle from the outside in make me cringe.
In any case. I did it. The piercer put a receiving tube down my urethra which was uncomfortable but not bad. Then the piercing was made. It was much less painful than I expected. The whole process went rather quickly too, it was all done in less than 2 minutes. All in all it was a much easier experience compared to the nipple piercings. It was also really great to have my friend there for emotional support and have something we could bond over. I also have a witness now that knows I did not scream out in pain when my willy was pierced. :o)
Got home a few hours ago, went pee. There was a bunch of coagulated blood the first time I just decided to take a quick shower and rinse it off. Then I went pee about 30 minutes ago again, there was much less blood than the first time. The pee had a slight sting to it but it was nothing terrible. Now I just get to chill out and let it heal.

Well I thought I would give an update.
Initial healing ended! Now just need the piercing to mature. Some guys were asking, it is a 10G right now.
So I went with a friend to the piercing studio to get it done, he has a 2G PA. He said (afterwards) that he thought the ring the piercer chose was too small for my erection but didn't want to contradict the piercer.
So this past weekend was my first fuck with the PA. On Friday night I tried, penetration was painful and fucking was uncomfortable. Its not supposed to be like this I thought! I always thought the ring almost disappeared when masturbating and seemed smallish so I went back to the piercing studio on Saturday for a consult and new jewelry. They put in a bigger CBR (still 10G), didn't make me pay for the new jewelry nor the consult!
Went to fuck again on Saturday after getting the bigger ring. WOW it was totally different from Friday! Penetration was easy, and sex was amazing. I still had to be gentle and not go full blast so I didn't cum from fucking, but man it was fun with the PA. So glad I got it!
Now I have to wait 1 more month until I can submerge in water, and 5 months before I can take the jewelry out for sex (if someone doesn't want it inside them) without the piercing closing.
All in all I really am enjoying the PA. For the past month I have been a seeming constant stream of precum I get that much extra stimulation.
I have three piercings. A 00 gauge PA, a 12 gauge pubic and a 4 gauge guiche. I love all of them but the guiche is definitely my favorite. I wish we could share photos. I enjoy meeting other guys who have piercings but surprisingly don't personally know anyone with one. Just on line.
Thanks for sharing your piercing experiences. I've always been too scared to even contemplate getting a PA, or any other piercing (well, I have an ear pierced, but that's different).
I'm relieved to know it doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would...still scares me silly. Still, the one thing that really interests me is what difference a genital piercing makes to your sexual experience. If any of you feel able to describe the different sensations you get, I'd be grateful!
