Modeling for College Figure Drawing class
Return to DiscussionsI have been a substitute model for figure drawing classes at a nearby university. If the scheduled model can't be there, I fill in.
Being nude in front of a room full of students feels different than hanging naked with other nudists. But, students are totally focused on trying to draw their image in a limited time so I quickly become comfortable. The hardest part for me was finding interesting poses that I could hold for 30 minutes at a time. Holding still, even in a "relaxed" pose is physically demanding. That's one reason I only do occasional substitute modeling.
