Return to DiscussionsSpa Castle in Queens is great. The one on 57th Street in Manhattan is really nice but much smaller than the mother ship in Queens, and a bit pricier--but then you are splashing around naked with other guys in a jacuzzi near Park Avenue, so that's a consideration.In summer, Sandy Hook is great--there's a ferry from Manhattan that is very nice. Jones Beach is great but can be a schlep. And though they are not offically nude, you can be naked all day on the beaches at Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove. You can also wander around those communities naked--or so I have been told. Ahem.So those are a few places....
It's closed because they didn't have the required safety plan for operating a spa. Apparently they will reopen "soon". I made it there between the grand opening and closing, it's quite nice! Considering how much money they spent to build it I'm certain they will try to get it open again asap.
