Every Thursday, 7pm - 8.30pm. Cost 5 pounds. Pay contactless; credit / debit cards / Apple / Google Pay accepted. Bring a 1 pound coin for a locker. Arrive 6:45pm-7pm to ensure entry. When:
Every Thursday, 7:45-8:45pm.
Where:
Arcadia Library & Leisure Centre, Yew Tree Avenue, Manchester, M19 3PH.
There's free parking at the back, cycle racks and local bus stops at the front, with Levenshulme train station a three minute walk away.
The group meets inside the leisure centre, just beyond reception, against the blue wall near the computers. A group member will welcome you there and take payment.
Cost:
Five pounds, which includes the use of a shared sauna and steam room - but bring shorts for those.
Bring a one pound coin for the lockers.
Facilities:
The pool we use has its own changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
Full length blinds protect our privacy from the neighbouring pool for the duration of our swim.
Numbers vary, but average 15-20 guys each week; the maximum allowed is 30.
There's an optional visit to the nearby pub The Bluebell for a pint afterwards.
