Return to DiscussionsI am heading to Sunnyside tomorrow for my first nude beach experience! Any tips?
Be prepared to get across the sharp rocks before you get to the beach. Sandals or similar are recommended. A shelter if it is very hot is useful. Might try to get there myself if weather is going to be better than today.
Parking: do not park on the slope where Stopping isn't allowed. Wait till a spot becomes available. You'll be fined if you parked on the slope - better not risk it. Or park before the slope starts (near winery or some campsite).
I'd wear sturdy shoes to facilitate walking on rocks, else walk slowly.
Bring lots of water and/or food - no shops anywhere close.
