Visit this year
Return to DiscussionsDoes everyone park at the normal car park near the start of the wooden walkway if on a day visit?
Has been suggested that if you turn right just at toilet block you can park in the caravan park, but as I ride there not sure if Is suitable for leaving a motorbike there.
Hi Dave
You can park at the car park by the toilets. It's pay&display. Not sure if you have to pay for motorbikes. Many people park on the side of the road to avoid charges but it gets busy early if the weather is good.
I hear you can park in the caravan site on the right too for a fee. It's a (slightly) shorter walk from there.
I sometimes park at Shell Island and walk down from there. Have to pay a day entry fee if you're not camping there.
Won't be going for easter as it'll be too busy but might try to get a camping weekend in sometime in early May if the weather holds up.
Cheers BareBrum, true to form the pay and display machine was broken, not that have ever used it.... still was there earleir today for first vist of the year and was very busy.
Lots of people striped off for the day so was a geat day to go.
Could do with a run out for my bike, am at a loose end Sunday morning so am thinking of a run to Morfa and a naked stroll along the beach, to head back around lunch time, forecast is 16 degrees and high possibility of rain, but have heard skin is waterproof.....
