He suggested How did you get interested in nudism,? What steps did you take or want to take to expand your interest in nudism?
My interest started when I found a book called among the nudists from the 1930s in the attic of an old house, my family had moved into when I was 15.. I was intrigued by men and women being naked together. Several times, I snuck out of the house, totally naked at night , and enjoyed the experience.. I almost got caught by my dad and my dog one time. Many years later with the advent of the Internet, I explored the subject and found a resort some 60 miles away.. Although I was totally scared and anxious, I signed up for a 5K nude race and went. I remember driving in and seeing my first nude person. This was real. I was welcomed by some older women and checked in. Once I took off my clothes it did not take long to be fully comfortable, I ran the race visited with people and wound up in the hot tub until 2 AM, one on one, with the most attractive female there. Although we were both totally nude, we had a very normal conversation and established a friendship I joined the club shortly there after , but I only stayed about a year. My ability to get out there because of my existing schedule at home limited me too much. I did enjoy walking the trails totally nude. Since then Ive been to several of the 5Ks and a couple of other events there but its very limited , I last went out there in July 2023. Several years ago, I did go to other resorts and events around the YSA. Currently, other than home, my nude time is very limited . I did model in 2023 and 2024 for Bare Necessities Cruises and have appeared in some of their literature . That is my story in a nutshell , what is yours?
I was intrigued with being nude from my early teens. I started by going out naked at night in the warmer months. I would sleep naked fairly often, and was interested in [at the time called] "Nudist Colonies". So I had my nude experiences outdoors mostly in nature when possible. It was years later that I found a connection to The Naturists and later to the AANR. Finally I had my way to try social nudity at a landed club, I was very nervous, but my desire to be nude with others kept me going. I saw my first nude person when I parked my car, which was very reassuring, I took off my clothes and walked all around the grounds. I met many other nudists who were all friendly and accepting, and spent the rest of my time at their pool chatting. Since that first time I have visited a number of nudist clubs and even a few nudist resorts. At all of these locations the other nudists have been friendly and accepting, and I find social nudism my most enjoyable nude time. While at these venues I have played volley ball, ptanque, had lunch, walked trails, hot tubbed, and swam in pools, always naked with others. Definitely time well spent, can't wait for my next time.
