You are limiting this discussion only to Americanssince there are different parties and political make up in other countries around the world. Here in Canada there are Conservatives, Liberals, NDP, Greens as the main parties and sometimes a number of other smaller interest parties try a go like the MarijuanaParty. England is different again so I'll let people from there explain. If you are interested in peoples political leans in TN please don't make this a USA political forum as TN is international.
One thing I have noticed is that D's tend to refer to R's and conservatives using harsh/evil language. I don't see it from the other side.
I hear just the opposite. I hear a constant stream of venom from R's especially Tea Partiers, demonizing anyone who's even just a step to the left of them. I hear criticism going from left to right but not anywhere near the venom that comes from the right. If you're not hearing any venom coming from the right then listen to FOX News, Limbaugh, Beck, Hanity, etc. etc., etc.
there in lies the problem between liberals and the rest. The right and their hateful speech from Beck, Limbaugh, Fox news the Tea Party. the left refuses to acknowledge their own hate speech mongers, Sharpton, Carville, MSNBC, CNN, Rachel Maddow, Move ON, Facebook, and on and on. Watch the hate spewed from the mouths of Trump protesters, read the signs promoting peace then listen to the language they use. Read the hate on twitter when a conservative dies. if you don;t agree with the left you are labeled a racist, bigot, anti=gay, hater. as far as nudists i know they tend to lean right or libertarian. before you make such statements look at your own before you bash the other.
I've always been a Democrat, but my independnt ways have led me to vote for third party candidates a couple of times. I've never voted Republican.
Just a thought. Which party will make lives for nudists better. Do we need government to post that a beach is clothing optional or that Forest Service land can be used by nudiists? Which party makes it harder for nudists? It would seem to me that liberal areas tend to be more accepting of nudity. Libertarians are probably not much worried about nudity, so not likely to pass laws against it.

This would make an interesting study. Libertarians, philosophically speaking, would seem to be the most likely to allow or even endorse nudism. Liberals might be more inclined to allow it but would want to control it. Conservatives, with their emphasis on "values", would seem to be the most likely not to tolerate it at all.
